I recently stayed at The Xavier Boutique in Old Montreal, and overall, it was a great experience. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to Old Montreal and the jazz festival. My room was clean and nicely decorated, although I faced some issues with the kitchen supplies and blinds. Despite those minor frustrations, I still felt safe and enjoyed my time here.

Rooms
5.0
My room was large and beautifully decorated, but I noticed two of the three blinds didn't open, leaving the room darker than I'd like. The kitchen was lacking in supplies, which made breakfast a bit challenging for four people.
Service
7.0
The staff was wonderful, but I did experience some hiccups with communication. I found it odd that they were persistent about my credit card info right after I called to check out, and it was a bit frustrating not to get a response when I messaged about the blind issue.
Location
10.0
The location is perfect for exploring, with fantastic restaurants and venues nearby. I walked everywhere, taking in the beautiful sights of Old Montreal and the Vieux port. It was great to have everything accessible without needing a car.
Dining
8.0
I loved being close to local dining options. The variety offered some great choices, from tacos to good coffee and croissants, which made each day a bit more enjoyable.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included housekeeping and laundry, which were convenient. However, I found that the kitchen could have been better stocked for cooking.

5.6/10

I had a pretty mixed experience at The Xavier Boutique in Old Montreal. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the area, but I ran into some frustrating issues, like the noise and discrepancies with the amenities advertised. Overall, the decor and spaciousness were lovely, but I think I'd choose a different room next time.

Rooms
6.0
My room was cozy and well-decorated with nice furniture and a full kitchen, but it came with some downsides. I was disappointed to find it wasn't ready at the promised time, and I had to deal with a too-loud environment that wasn’t soundproofed at all. Definitely a good spot for functionality, though.
Service
6.0
The service was okay once I connected with someone, but I had to call in for help, which was kinda annoying. They were nice and helpful for the most part, but the process could’ve been smoother.
Location
10.0
The location was truly unbeatable. I loved that I could easily walk to tons of restaurants, bars, and attractions, plus it was super close to the venues for the Montreal Jazz Festival. Seriously, you can't beat that!
Dining
8.0
I didn't get to dine in, but the area has some awesome spots nearby, including places with Belgian waffles which I'm all about.
Facilities
5.0
This place had a cool setup with a kitchen and some storage, which I appreciated. However, the laundry situation wasn't ideal since I found out that the washer/dryer wasn't available for guests as expected.

6.0/10

My stay at The Xavier Boutique was a mix of enjoyable moments and a few letdowns. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore Old Montreal's vibrant atmosphere 🍽️. However, the mention of free parking was misleading, as it came with many conditions, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, noise from nearby nightlife could be a concern for light sleepers, but I managed to enjoy my time nonetheless.

Rooms
6.0
The loft suite was beautiful and reflected the photos I had seen online. But, it was situated directly above a lively dance bar, which made things a bit noisy on certain nights.
Service
5.0
Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception, and I had to navigate the space to get internet access. It felt a bit disorganized, which was disappointing.
Location
9.0
The location couldn’t be better! It's right near fantastic restaurants, bars, and all the sights around Old Montreal. I loved that everything was within walking distance 🌆.
Dining
7.0
While there weren't many dining options onsite, the nearby restaurants were excellent and provided a great variety for late-night dining.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but I found myself having to repeatedly ask for housekeeping during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient.

I had a great stay at The Xavier Boutique in Old Montreal! The location was perfect, making it super easy to explore the area and hit up some awesome restaurants. However, there were a few things that could've been improved, like the lack of some kitchen essentials and a couple of maintenance issues. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there.

Rooms
9.0
My studio apartment was spacious and clean, and I loved the high ceilings. There was plenty of toilet paper and extra bedding for the sofa bed, which was a nice touch. However, I did notice that it could've used a few more towels and some kitchen utensils.
Service
7.0
The staff was initially responsive when I needed assistance, but some follow-up actions weren’t completed. They tried to address a lighting issue, but I had to rely on table lamps instead. Not the best service for the price.
Location
10.0
I couldn’t have asked for a better location! It was right in the heart of Old Montreal and super close to the waterfront. I loved wandering around and discovering great cafes and sights.
Dining
8.0
There were sweet rolls available that were quite good, but I would've appreciated more local dining options in the immediate area.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel was nice, but missing a few key amenities like a fan in the bathroom and the promised washer and dryer. A bit of maintenance would really elevate the facilities.

I had a wonderful stay at The Xavier Boutique in Old Montreal. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to plenty of restaurants and attractions. However, parking was a bit tricky, which took away from the overall experience slightly.

Rooms
10.0
My studio apartment was spacious with a lovely kitchen and living area. It was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities I needed, making it a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring.
Service
8.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and responsive, providing clear instructions for accessing the building and my room. However, I didn't see them much during my stay, which felt a bit impersonal sometimes.
Location
9.0
The boutique's location was excellent, situated in a vibrant area with fantastic restaurants and sights to see. It was perfect for enjoying the nightlife, though it might not be ideal for those with young kids due to lots of stairs.
Dining
9.0
I loved the dining options nearby! There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance that cater to various tastes, including a lovely Italian place right next door.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities offered housekeeping and a laundry room, which were both great conveniences during my stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which really added to the overall comfort.
